The story so far...
In 2005 the founders of 13TEXT recognised the growing popularity of Short Message System (SMS) technology and mobile phone usage in general and identified a market gap in the lack of true business applications that were taking advantage of these growth trends.
1.9 trillion SMS messages were sent worldwide in 2007 and it was estimated that over 2.3 trillion SMS messages would be sent in 2008.*
After nearly four years of research and development, enabling the technology as well as preparing to launch the applications commercially, 13TEXT now holds patents pending in 44 countries and the infrastructure is equipped for global roll-out.
13TEXT has essentially created a brand new communications channel designed to complement (not replace) other traditional channels of communication. The central application is Text2Talk™ - A unique process through which a text message is instantly converted to a phone call.
Text2Talk™ is simple to understand and powerful in its application!
Since March 2009 an impressive and rapidly growing number of Australian companies have benefited from introducing 13TEXT.
Commercialization has already expanded into New Zealand and pilots are being conducted with customers in China, the USA, Canada and soon the UK.
